Geotechnical Engineering

Landmark has provided geotechnical engineering and materials testing services to Northern Colorado for more than 25 years.  The depth and breadth of experience gained by our senior geotechnical staff during this time has developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the unique soils and geotechnical conditions found throughout the Colorado Front Range.  Landmark maintains its own in-house drill rig as well as a soils and materials testing laboratory which enables us to collect soil samples in the field and test the samples in-house.  This allows us to provide quicker analysis and greater quality control for our clients.  Once testing is complete the soils analysis and drilling data information can then be used by our engineers to determine foundation and pavement thickness design criteria and make recommendations for construction. 

Landmark's geotechnical engineering staff also provides services related to residential septic system designs based on the County and State requirements regulating their use.  Landmark can provide drilling and percolation testing related to these systems and assists our clients in the design of fully "engineered" septic systems when needed.
